The building is made up of ten giant blocks, stacked up to create the ten storey museum. Each block is rotated 90 degrees from the last, creating a vast spiral known as the MAS boulevard. This acts as both a pedestrian circuit and a municipal gallery, providing a 'vertical city tour' of Antwerp.
